United Religions Initiative (URI) Executive Director Charles Gibbs Visited Volunteering for Peace yesterday
after a tour he had in Bethlehem together with Volunteering for Peace coordinator visiting different Palestinian organizations and trying to build up networking with Palestinian NGOs. He also had a chance to visit the Nativity Church during Good Friday and pray in it. Then they visited Aida Refugee camp in Bethlehem.
After the visit in Bethlehem a meeting took place in Hebron with the Palestinian cooperation Circles of URI and the different ccs members had a chance to hear from the URI executive Director about success stories from URI across the other 7 regions of URI.
Volunteering for Peace cc members had a good chance to meet with Mr. Gibbs and exchange questions and answers about URI and interfaith across the globe.
At the end of the meeting Mr. Gibbs thanks all the ccs for their presence and thanked them for their fruitful discussions
