Volunteering for Peace at Anna Forum in Barcelona

Greetings from Barcelona, the Capital of Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation

Volunteering for Peace is participating at the Anna Lindh Forum 2010 which take place in Barcelona Spain with participation of over 700 Organizations from across the 43 members countries of Anna Lindh Network from Europe and Mediterranean Countries.

More than 800 civil society representatives from all forty-three countries of the Union for the Mediterranean attended the international launch of the very first Anna Lindh Forum.

The four-day meeting, which coincides with the Foundation's fifth anniversary, is expected to spur cooperation between civil society organizations within the Euromed region.

Volunteering for Peace is participating with a presentation about interfaith dialogue in the region and possibilities of cooperation. VFP is also having a special corner in which we are presenting information about the organization and about URI. We are distributing information about URI MENA and URI Europe and promoting the concepts of URI to the world. So let’s expect more members CCs soon.
